Woods: Alpine spruce double top over cedar. Maple neck. Macassar ebony back and sides. Oil finish throughout.
Specs: 655mm scale, 53mm nut, 43mm string spacing at nut, 58mm at saddle. 4mm string height, bass string 12th fret. Baltic amber rosette, raised fingerboard, custom Turkowiak case and tuners.
Condition: new, with top repair. This guitar was slightly damaged during import from Poland. A thin crack opened up on the lower bout, near the lining . Expert luthier Ramon Zayas has stabilized the crack and applied finish to render the area nearly imperceptible. I have taken a photo that shows the slight scar that remains.
Comment: this is a serious double top guitar. The power and focus of this Turkowiak “Queen of Guitars” is substantial. Crisp trebles and a deep bass response are the primary assets. The many innovations the Turkowiak family invest in their classical guitars are laid out at https://turkowiakguitars.com/guitars/classical/. The bottom line is a concert quality instrument at a most affordable price.
