The primary impression this guitar offers is the immediacy and strength of the output. Boomy, no. But punchy, warm, even tempered, happy, yes. It also has a bass string that grabs your attention, especially in dropped d. Effortless left hand demands, moisture proof finish, and fine workmanship are what Turkowiak guitars are all about.
The buyer of the previous Turkowiak cedar double top wrote: “I just wanted to let you know that after playing this thing for several hours a day since I returned, I love it even more! I’m absolutely in love with the sound. It really doesn’t require much force at all to play. I liked all the guitars you showed me particularly the spruce Rouse, but this was the most playable of the bunch. And now that I’ve actually looked at it, it’s pretty good looking too! Thanks again for your assistance and hospitality. I couldn’t be happier with this guitar. Jerry
