Macassar ebony and cedar over spruce double top

Woods: Macassar ebony back and sides (laminated), and a cedar over spruce top. Hollow sycamore maple neck with sound ports. Oil finish throughout. This finish resists moisture without restraining the output.

Specs: 650mm scale, 52mm nut, 43mm string spacing at nut, 58mm at saddle. 4mm bass string height at 12th fret. Hard shell case, 12 hole tie block, beveled arm rest. The primary impression this guitar offers is the immediacy and strength of the output. Boomy, no. But punchy, warm, even tempered, happy, yes. It also has a bass string that grabs your attention, especially in dropped d. Effortless left hand demands, moisture proof finish, and fine workmanship are what Turkowiak guitars are all about.
